Managing your workflows is crucial to ensure that your automations are running smoothly and efficiently. There are times when you may need to turn off a workflow, whether it’s for maintenance, updates, or to stop it from running altogether. This tutorial will guide you through the steps to turn off a workflow.
Step 1: Log into Your Account
First, access your GoHighLevel account using your credentials. Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Automations’ section where your workflows are listed.
Step 2: Access the Workflows Section
On the left-hand sidebar, click on “Automations.”

Step 3: Locate the Workflow
In the Workflows section, browse through the list or use the search bar at the top to find the specific workflow you want to turn off.
Step 4: Turn Off the Workflow
Once you’ve located the workflow, click on it, then click toggle the button at the top right to put it into draft mode.

Step 5: Turn On the Workflow
You can simply toggle the button to turn the workflow back on, or click “Publish” to reactivate it.
